Compassionate Care

Our staff is dedicated to the betterment of clinical research by providing superior customer service and obtaining the highest measure of satisfaction from our patients. Our actions show that we believe in our mission to provide compassionate medical care. By serving as a patient advocate, we build trust and articulate the vision of each patient’s role in research. We are genuine in establishing rapport and providing excellent care to a diverse patient population by treating each patient with importance, warmth and respect. Our focus is our patient’s wellbeing and creating an atmosphere that promotes healing. Southeast Regional Research Group invests in the field of research by educating others as new and improved treatment options become available.

Southeast Regional Research Group adheres to the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). GCP guidelines are in place to protect our patient’s rights as a volunteer in a research trial. GCP guidelines also define the responsibilities of study sponsors (i.e. pharmaceutical companies) and research physicians and coordinators. We are also observant of the protection of patients in our clinical research studies and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant.

Our clinical staff members are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Clinical Life Support (ACLS). Through their training in these areas, our staff readily recognizes adverse reactions and is quick to respond to these situations if they occur. Stringent safety precautions are always taken as we care for our patients.

To accommodate various needs of patient volunteers, we often provide transportation, transportation reimbursement and communication assistance (i.e. loan of cell phone). In addition, qualified participants receive study related procedures and medication at no cost.
