Physician Requirements
Physician Requirements include
- GCP Training
- Human Participant Protections Education
- Completion of NIH Clinical Research Training and Exam
- Willingness to sign a contract
- Willingness to comply and participate in the clinical trial until close-out
- Previous research experience preferred
The purpose of these requirements is to ensure all of our principal investigators are aware of the ethical issues involved in human subjects research, to become familiar with the roles and responsibilities of the principal investigator and the institution when conducting clinical research and to have an understanding of FDA oversight of clinical research.
